But now Thuringia wants to know. Bodypainting is increasingly becoming a part of unforgettable events.
After the Apolda bodypainting contest last weekend, the Thuringia Day in Sömmerda has now called on the state to celebrate.
In addition to countless other attractions, the colorful body cult was also an integral part of the program.
Sabine Florian from Sömmerda invited the artists to a creative rendezvous.
Mirko Gerwenat, Michael Kirchner, Silke Kirchhoff, Katrin Rausch and Einrico Lein responded to the call and created media-effective works of art.
Lots of colors from Senjo-Color kissed the models’ skin.
And there was probably a lot of good humor too.
