1992 – The beginning of a long journey
The first body painting, a UV skyline and a robot face with UV colors, marks our entry into the world of body painting.
1998 – Pioneering work with 3D SFX bodypaintings
We experiment with 3D effects made of latex and develop the first latex prosthetics that set new standards in our body art.
1999 – Start of online trading
With Theatermakeup.de we launch our first online store. Our growing network of artists from various disciplines requires specialized materials, which we now provide.
2000 – International Community
Our participation in the World Bodypainting Festival WBF will be a milestone in the development of an international bodypainting community.
2005 – The dream of perfect colors
The growing demands on materials inspire us to consider developing our own colors.

2006 – Development of own colors
We develop tattoo paints for film productions, a market niche that demands realistic, durable and easily washable colors.
2009 – The birth of Senjo Color
The Senjo Color brand is registered and the first Senjo Tattoo INKs are launched on the market.
2010 – First Latexprosthetics
The introduction of Senjo Color Latexprosthetics enables the creation of goblins, elves and monsters with our products.
2011 – BASIC Airbrush Colors
We present 24 shades of our new water-based BASIC airbrush paints, suitable for airbrush, sponge and brush.
2017 Senjo-Color moves
We are bursting at the seams. After 15 years, we are leaving our headquarters in Kopenhagener Straße in Berlin Reinickendorf and expanding our capacities in the new Senjo Loft Berlin-Wittenau.
2019 – Foundation of Senjo Color GmbH
An important milestone for our company: the founding of Senjo Color GmbH. This marks a new stage in our history, with a stronger organizational structure that prepares us for further growth.
2019 – Start of cake make-up
With the classic Cake series for face & body, we now have a water-soluble make-up for body painting, face painting and children’s make-up.
