Again and again we are asked for a short instruction how to glue the latex parts. Therefore we will work out a complete latex parts sfx tutorial. Until then, we’ll give you a few important tips for the start.

Good preparation is the be-all and end-all.
The parts should of course fit well into the design concept and the size of the latex part should also fit where it is needed.

Latexteil mit kleinen Blaeschen

Small holes through bubbles can remain unnoticed at this point. They will be closed later with latex. The parts are blanks. The design follows in the next steps.

The skin should be insensitive to latex and glue, otherwise the procedure may cause latex allergies.

So clean and dry skin and parts well.

Material: Senjo Color latex part, mastic, mastic remover, cotton swab and/or spatula

Gluing of the latexparts

Now we can coat the latex part and skin area with mastic adhesive and let it air off a little. If the mastic is too dry, it no longer sticks. If it’s too wet, it won’t stick yet. So wait for the right time and then press the part firmly onto the skin.

Now the edges can be glued and step 1 is already done.

Smoothing the Edges

Material: Senjo Color Latex Edge Filler and/or Latex Milk, Spatula, Senjo Fixing Powder, Powder Brush

With a spatula the desired amount of latex edge filler is applied and filled. The Edge Filler is a white paste and dries transparent. It should be processed quickly before hardening. We have a few minutes to do this. Depending on temperatures.
The result should be a smooth surface.

Now brush the transparent, slightly sticky surface with plenty of fixing powder and remove any excess.

Painting the glued latex parts

All common make-up can be used to paint latex parts and skin. Fat make-up, alcohol paints as well as water make-up. With brush or airbrush. Just as you like.

Now nothing should stand in the way of the photo shoot.

Removing the latex parts after the job

Important for your protagonist after the job is now the gentle removal of the latex parts from the skin. What you need above all is some time. Don’t just tear the pieces off your body. Don’t flood him with removers either. You’re in charge. So be nice to your model. Then she/he will surely trust you again next time.

So first remove the makeup. Depending on the product used, e.g. with water and soap. In the next step you look at the edges. with a cotton swab you can work in glue solvent and/or mastic remover under the edges and dissolve the mastic. Step by step you conquer the body/face of your model and then you come to the final cleaning.

After the parts are removed, you will surely see some more edges. They are a mixture of latex, adhesive and paint and are now dissolved with the special adhesive remover and removed with paper towels.
The rest is removed with warm water and shampoo or soap.

Then cream the skin well and massage as a thank-you. She had a hard job and is now very grateful for it.
